FAQ

The questions people actually ask before buying a lifted shoe.

Can people tell I am wearing them?

Not from the outside. The elevation sits inside the midsole and heel seat on a last cut for that height, so the sole and heel keep the proportions of an ordinary shoe. What people notice is that you are taller, not why.

How much taller will I actually be?

The figure on each product is the real added height at the heel, measured against a flat shoe. A 2.5 inch pair puts you 2.5 inches up. There is no rounding and no marketing number.

Which lift should I start with?

If you have never worn a lifted shoe, start at 2 to 2.5 inches. It is the easiest to walk in and the least likely to feel unfamiliar. Three inches is noticeable to you for the first week, though not to anyone else.

Are they comfortable?

They are heavier than a flat sneaker and the first few days feel different, because your heel sits higher. The footbed is shaped to keep the arch supported rather than tipping you forward. Most people stop noticing within a week.

What size do I order?

Your normal size. The lift does not change the internal length of the shoe. If you are between sizes, go up. The fit guide has the full chart and how to measure.

Can I wear them all day?

Yes, and most customers do. If you are on your feet for twelve hours, the lower tiers are the more sensible choice.

Will the packaging say anything?

No. Nothing on the box, the tissue or the shipping label refers to height, lift or elevation. It arrives as a pair of shoes.

How long does shipping take?

Orders leave within one business day. US delivery is typically three to six business days with free standard shipping.

What if they do not fit?

Exchanges and returns are free for 14 days, provided the shoes have only been worn indoors and the soles are unmarked. Keep the box, message us with your order number, and we will send a return label.

Do these improve posture or health?

No, and we will not tell you otherwise. You will see claims in this category about spinal alignment and hormones. They are not supported. These make you taller while you wear them. That is the product.

How tall will I be?

Every Amari style lists its lift in the name, from 1.5 to 3 inches depending on the style. That height is built into the shoe, so you get it the moment you put them on.

Does it look natural?

Yes. The lift sits inside the midsole and is graded from heel to toe, so the shoe keeps a normal profile and your stance stays level. From the outside they look like a regular pair of Italian shoes.

Shoes vs insoles?

Insoles move your foot up inside a normal shoe, which can push your heel out of the back. Amari builds the lift into the shoe itself, so the fit stays secure and nothing shows. If you want lift in shoes you already own, our Lift Insoles III are made for that.

Amari vs others?

Many height shoes stack a thick heel under the foot. Amari hides the lift inside a handmade Italian build with a slim outsole, so you get the height without the look of a platform.

Can people tell I am wearing them?

The lift is sealed inside the shoe, so there is no visible wedge, no tall heel and no telltale shape. Most people will only notice that you look taller.

Do they look bulky?

No. Each style is shaped like its regular counterpart, with the extra height absorbed inside a graded midsole rather than stacked underneath.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. Every order ships in plain packaging. Nothing on the outside of the box says what is inside.

Are they comfortable all day?

They are built for full days on your feet, with a cushioned footbed and a gradual slope from heel to toe so your weight stays balanced.

Is there a break in period?

Give yourself a few days of normal wear while your feet get used to the new posture. Start with a few hours, then wear them as long as you like.

Can I play sports in them?

Amari shoes are made for everyday wear: work, nights out, travel and walking. For running or training, wear dedicated athletic shoes.

Are they bad for my back or posture?

The lift is graded rather than a steep heel, which keeps the angle of your foot gentle and your stance upright. If you have a foot, knee or back condition, check with your doctor before switching.

Can I wear them every day?

Yes. Many customers wear them daily. If you are new to lifted shoes, build up over the first week.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is free on all US orders. US orders usually arrive within 5 to 8 business days of shipment, and international orders within 8 to 12 business days.

What is your return policy?

You have 14 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. Shoes must be unworn and in the original box. Returns and exchanges are free within the United States.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships you will get an email with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

Can I exchange for a different size?

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping is calculated by destination and shown at checkout before you pay.
